Calvin Coolidge was the 30th president for the United States of America, and his legacy is controversial. Though his popularity was widespread during his time as president, in retrospect many blame his Federal Reserve System for the stock market crash of 1929. He currently ranks in the lower half of presidents in popularity for this reason, but many still praise his support for racial equality during a period of racial tension in the United States.
